Where Can I Donate My Car to Chabad?
If you want to donate a car to Chabad, you can do it through Chabad Cars. We have been helping donors turn cars they no longer need into tzedakah since 2002. Towing is free anywhere in the U.S., the car does not need to run, and you get a tax-deductible receipt.

Who can donate?
Anyone in the U.S. with a car, truck, van, SUV, RV, boat or trailer they no longer need. You do not need to live near a Chabad House. We arrange pickup wherever the vehicle is: your driveway, a repair shop or a parking lot.
What kinds of vehicles do you accept?
Cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, RVs, boats and trailers. Running or not. Accident damage, a failed emissions test or a car that has sat for years is usually not a problem. If you are not sure, call and ask. See also our page on donating boats, RVs and trucks.
How does it work?
Tell us about your car. Fill out the form or call 1-866-770-5463. It takes about a minute.
We tow it for free. Pickup is often the same day or the next day. You don't need to be home.
Get your receipt. You receive a tax-deductible receipt for your donation.

What does my donation support?
Proceeds support Jewish children and families: Jewish education, food assistance and care for those in need. Giving a car you no longer use turns it into tzedakah, without listing it for sale, meeting strangers or haggling over price.
Is there anything extra for donors?
As a thank-you, a third-party sponsor sends donors a certificate for a free 2-night, 3-day hotel stay. It usually arrives 2 to 4 weeks after we receive your car. Some junk cars may not qualify. Details are on our Free Vacation page.
What if I lost the title?
That's often not a problem. In many states we can order a replacement title for you, free of charge. See our guide to donating a car without a title.
